Add the water to the Natrulon OSF with urea and mix at low sheer for 10 minutes. Add the Natrulon H-10 to the mixture with stirring for two minutes. Add the methoxycinnamate and the Geogard preservative to the mixture and stir for eight minutes. Add the Novemer EC-1 and stir until the mixture begins to thicken and then increase the stirrer speed for an additional three minutes.
Total preparation time is ~23 minutes, viscosity 2900 cps (Brookfield spindle A). The formulation passed stability testing at 45°C for two months.
